This is an ink drawing of the ancient medieval king known as Mansa Musa.  Such a fascinating historical figure, I was recently introduced to through research of another project.  I was inspired to create my own portrait of this progressive figure.  The artwork has been executed in technical pen and marker on 140lb watercolour paper.  It measures 61cm sq before frame and has been professionally framed in a modern white frame and green mount cut to fit the circle in the centre.  The framed dimensions measure 70x70cm
