Myths & Legends
Myths & Legends is an ongoing series of ink drawings, started in 2025, rooted in folklore, cautionary tales, and inherited narratives. The works draw on local tales, urban legends, myths, place, and some from recent memory, using familiar figures and symbols as vessels for unease rather than resolution.

Characters such as watchers, hags, and animals recur across the series, not as protagonists but as witnesses. They occupy liminal spaces; woods, ruins, and thresholds, where moral certainty is unstable and consequences linger.
The drawings are rendered with precision and restraint, allowing narrative tension to emerge through detail, gesture, and silence rather than overt storytelling. While grounded in specific legends or sites, the works are not about fixed interpretation, functioning instead as visual fragments that invite deeper reflection.

This series remains open and accumulative, allowing new drawings to enter over time as additional myths, warnings, and stories are presented.
