Under Pressure presents a paired filtration system under uneven load. Through ink and particulate fields, the work maps shifting capacity, accumulation, and resistance. Gold leaf traces what is carried through the system, marking outcome within imbalance.
 
This piece is from the new and ongoing series, The Atlas of Fragile Systems.  It was created in ink and 23kt gold leaf of 140lb cold pressed watercolour paper.  It will be professionally framed in black mount and black and gold frame for a dramatic finish.  The artwork measures 42x30cm and with the frame it will be approximately 57x45cm.
