In this surreal botanical scene, danger and beauty coexist in uneasy harmony. Castor plants bloom against a feverish purple sky, surrounded by toxic lilies, predatory insects, and watchful creatures at the water’s edge. The bullfrog and bird appear suspended in a moment of quiet tension, a communion within a poisoned ecosystem.

Every leaf and scale is rendered in fine ink detail, merging scientific observation with symbolic unease. Fever Garden explores the fragile boundaries between life and toxicity, fascination and fear, a vision of nature as both healer and destroyer.

The artwork has been executed in ink on 140lb watercolour paper and measures 64x60cm. It is professionally framed in a white mount and black frame for a modern finish. Framed dimensions are 75x75cm.
