This work establishes the baseline condition of the cardiovascular system.  Circulation is intact, with pathways open and structurally coherent. Surface interruptions are minimal, and the relationship between vessels and surrounding tissue remains stable. Gold is present in limited traces, indicating points of flow rather than repair. The wider branching network is fully extended, suggesting functional reach and balance across the system.
This piece serves as the reference state from which subsequent changes are measured.
 
Created in ink and 23kt gold leaf on 140lb watercolour paper, the piece measures 40x30cm.  It has been professionally framed in black and gold frame with a black mount for a dramatic finish.  The framed dimensions are 50x40cm.
