This work on the surface looks at a badger in a dark forest discovering an unusual web acting as a portal to another world, one that is bright and vibrant and alive. It serves as a metaphor where the 'web' acts as a portal of escape from our familiar stagnant lives to learning new things and the chance at renewal with opportunities and vibrancy.

Created in ink and traditional acrylics on 140lb cold pressed watercolour paper, this work measures 59x84cm and is presently unframed.
