This is an original illustration inspired by the work of Edgar Allan Poe, "The Masque of the Red Death."  This scene is depicting the following passage from the story, "...Who dares insult us with this blasphemous mockery? Seize him and unmask him - that we may know whom we have to hang at sunrise, from the battlements!"


A work executed in a mixture of inks and traditional acrylic paint on cold-pressed wated oclour paper, this illustration measures 48x32cm and comes with a certificate of authenticity.  It is presently in an off-white frame with white mount.  Framed dimensions are 55x45cm
